Hi Mark, We've had the 6000 since the beginning of our service. When the weather is good, we have a signal strength of around 86. It's very lightly overcast today and it's down to around 70. You're right, uploads are painfully slow. When I happen to get the occasional email that contains some pics, it comes in in about 2-5 minutes. To resend it to someone else takes 5-10 minutes. That's a file of about 2 megs. It really is a lot better than the dial-up we started with here. The same file would have taken about an hour or more using that. But it's still a lot slower than I think it should be for the amount of money we're paying for it.
