You still could have a conversion using the diesel parts - if done right would 'look' original. If the manual mentions it, then you are in the change-over years, when vehicles & tractors were changed from 6v pos ground to the new standard of 12v neg ground. All such upgrades get kinda confusing if they happen during a model year. :) --->Paul
