Again,I bought this tractor,Farmall 400 gas, and it had a 12 volt battery in it and was connected negative ground.The wiring has not been tampered with and all the wiring,voltage regulator, starter,coil,generator,ect are all original. After 2and 1 half years the battery went down and thats when I was told that it should be positive ground.I have an operator's manual and it shows a 6 volt battery in one section and a 12 volt battery in another.Kinda confusing, isn't it.
