Need Help

My father has a chrome metal plate in his head as a result of hunting deere drunk with a BB gun. the chrome is peeling and this causes him to hear loud engine noises. It drives me crazy because he can't tell what kind of tractor or locomotive it is. The Yugo he drives sits next to the combine he won't drive because he thinks that combines are too small to be safe on the road. Will this keep the battery in his motorcycle from starting his Piper Cub?(he always has to hand prop it). Any ideas on how to rechrome the plate in his head so that his fiancee will marry him and take him off my hands. Sorry for the long off topic post, but after reading some of the others that are OT, I thought this would be the perfect place to ask for help.
