the crankshaft turns clockwise.that would be looking at the enginefrom in front of the radiator.the left hand pump turns counterclockwise.you hook up the pump on the front,with the crankshaft facing the pump shaft.if you sit on the tractor seat,both the engine and the pump are turning ccw
