good or bad? '89 Ford F150 Lariat

Hello,
I am looking at buying another truck from my friend. It's a 1989 Ford F150 Shortbox Reg Cab Lariat XLT
Rebuilt 302 EFI. Auto trans.
New front end, Newer paint, Newer Cragars & GoodYear tires. 165,000 miles Don't know a whole lot about fords, What do you guys think of them? What are some problems to look out for? Does $2700 sound like too much? Thanks,
