You should have been warned in advance.
It should have come in the form of a sign that says "Posted Bridge Ahead" at the last turn off before the bridge.
For all the officer knew you were going to the farm just before the bridge and there would have been no reason to stop you and warn you of said bridge; That is till you crossed it.

While it will not work since you are a local and should know of the bridge in advance if there is not a warning sign that ticket can be thrown out.
See if you are not warned when you are at the last turn off you have no choice but to cross the bridge once you get to it. What are you suppose to do? Back up 2 miles to the last turn off.
I know several that have beat that ticket on the fact that no warning sign was posted and it was not there normal travel road.
