Is being Pro-Gay a bad thing? After this election, somebody has to be pro-Gay, for Pete's sake. We have a President who wants to ban gay marriage and civil unions and his base of Evangelicals who would send the Gays to death camps if it were allowed. Do you realize that in this country it is okay to fire someone because they're gay? Deny them housing? Deny them hospital visitation if their partner is in the hospital, etc.? Is that a good and moral thing to do? Nope! Folks will say being gay is a choice. Well, so is choosing to follow a certain brand of religion, yet you don't see people getting fired for being evangelical Christians. Of course, religion is a protected class. Somebody needs to stand up and say that the bigotry and discrimination stops here.
