Gas shortage under Carter? That was in 74 under Nixon.Then Ford[another appointed prez.Remember the metric conversion act of 1976,that worked out well.We ignored it and it went away.Agnew,Nixons VP couldnt take over due to his tax evasion charges.Carter came later till 80 then Reagen.Lets not distort history.The"shortage"was contrived by oil cos.Who cares anyway lets stick to tool,tractors and such.Thought it was no politics.
