Hi JDMan01, I run a deuce-and-a-half, my only "pickup". Mine was converted to diesel-only before it left the army. Top speed"s 60, 55 is better. Can"t imagine a better truck for my needs. I went to the closest base to see what was being auctioned. Didn"t know what I was looking at, parts missing, so I decided to buy from a dealer. My guy, in NC, uses an army road tractor pulling a trailer that holds 2 deuces to get his buys home. Deuces start at $4500 (ready to inspect) and he"s making a profit. Titled and registered is no problem. Parts readily available and inexpensive from several places that specialize in such. If you want to bypass a dealer, there are a few trucks in Illinois on page 4 here:
