I am not familar with that model or that engine.I would suggest to find out how long that peticular engine has been built. If it has been around for awhile go check out the used cars out there and see how many miles they have racked up.If it is a new design I'd be cautious.Bottom line on any warranty is how good the local dealer is and will they back you up. I am familar with some of those rumors concerning Dodge trucks, bad brakes wear out fast, not true as I have 160,000 miles and am still on the first set of pads I replaced after the originals worn around 90,000 Auto Transmissions are junk ? I am still moving after 160,000 miles I have developed a slight upshift problem from 2nd to 3rd in cold weather but very intermitant and some of that tranny snake oil treatments seem to help. I have however found out that Dana must of got a bad batch of differential side bearings as mine went bad just like the local Jeep dealer said the Cherokee ones do.Mine is a 1996 model.
