I had a John Deere 2520 that had a leaky head gasket and put water glass in it. What a mess, it pluged the radator up good. I think if I had drained the antifreeze out first then used the water glass with straight water for a while then drained the water glass out then added antifreeze it might have worked. I have never had much luck with these kind of fixes, Fix it right the first time and be done with it.
