Sounds to me like someone is still mad about "GW stealing the election from Gore." It may not be the perfect system but we have a "representative" form of government. It is all a part of having someone represent you. The interesting thing is the losing side is ALWAYS going to say they were cheated, direct vote or electoral vote. What would you be saying if Gore was president but GW had won the populus vote. I bet the system would be the best thing on earth. And if sKerry does not win this election the whining will continue. One thing for sure, in the wake of September 11 I am glad that I had GW as my President. I wonder what sKerry's PLAN would have been had he been president. Or Gore for that matter. Tims$.02
