If DSL is available it is the best. YES it would help. No conpairason. Same for cable. Check to see if wireless high speed is available as a second choise Third choise is sat. I don't know what your house wireing is but an old time help was to make sure that there is a good ground. If not in the wireing, then from the case of the computer to a water pipe or such. They did the same to me. Had good speed with old copper wires, then fiber optics got worse. Then DSL became available and that is great. Kenny
