There isn't much honor amung sellers because there isn't much honor amung buyers. How many times have you put something out there to sell and people come out of the woodwork to blow hot air at you or just look or offer some sort of crazy trade? Not to mention that the whole best offer thing is backwards. When a guy offers some thing lets say 5000.00 OBO that means that 5000.00 is his minimum and he will consider all offers above that. Thus the term "BEST offer". Somewhere it has got turned around to mean that he is asking 5000.00 but he would be willing to take a lesser offer. As a seller one is not obligated to any conversations, phone offers or dirt kickin. When someone walks up with the right amount of cash in hand then things get serious. Until there is honor in buyers there won't be much honor in sellers. Tims$.02
