Hey guys, Just wanted to let everyone know that the truck(96 Silverado one ton dually) has been at the dealer in the shop for 5 weeks as of today 9/27/04. I've been told to stand my ground which I had allready was going to do anyhow. GM is being such a you know what about this matter. I've been told by several sources now that I'm getting scammed and thats something I allready knew as well too. I've been told to tell them to get it fixed or I will file a class action lawsuit. I will be contacting an attorney in the morning about this matter. Any ideas out there. I've been told by two different individuals who have no reason to lie to me abbut it that they have seen pumps come anywhere from 3 to 5 in a row that are bad. I've been screwed over enough in my life and I"m just not going to bend over and take this with a smile. Dealership has a bad rating with the better business bureau as well. I've been doing some research here. They have also been told on many occasions that this is my work truck, the one I use to make my living with, no telling how much I have lost in wages while dealing with this. I believe the company just doesn't care about its customers. The injection pumps have not been checked to see what is out on them, I have not received any paperwork whatsoever on the work that was supposed to have been done to it, I really don't know if they have done anything or not??????? Well, they have done one thing, they have created a upset customer for sure! The pumps are supposed to be guaranteed and their work is supposed to be too. Just a note the original pump was replaced under warranty, the one they put in failed, I got it back and drove it less than a week and the next one failed. They are grasping at straws to blame the fuel on the problem when they have not even checked the pumps to see what is wrong with them Just got a voice mail that its beyond General Motors control and that they ain't going to do squat. Looks like its lawsuit time here boys.

Field Modifications (Sins of the Farmer) - by Staff. Picture a new Chevrolet driving down the street without it's grill, right fender and trunk lid. Imagine a crude hole made in the hood to accommodate a new taller air cleaner, the fender wells cut away to make way for larger tires, and half of a sliding glass door used to replace the windshield. Top that off with an old set of '36 Ford headlight shells bolted to the hood. Pretty unlikely for a car... but for a tractor, this is pretty normal. It seems that more often than not they a
