OT..Old oak root..........

Gave up on removing the old oak stump as it was presenting a challange that I could not address. I did however wash it down with a pressure washer and this enabled me to remove (with chainsaw) at least the stump and its upper large roots to below grade. I will now just place fill over it and call it a day. Question. Is there a product that will rot out the remaining roots so as not to have any growth back.If there is, I would sure like to apply before I fill and cover. Many Thanks. Douglas
