help-ford 8n to ????massey ferguson 240

Just need some advice. I have old ford 8n that just isn"t quite enough power to do what i like to do. Am considering a 1986 massey ferguson. Need something with enough hp to bush hog some pretty thick stuff and to plant food plots for deer and turkey. Also small enough to do odd jobs around house and to be able to haul behind 1500 chevrolet. Is massey ferguson the right kind of tractor? What price range? How many hours is too many on used tractor? Thanks for any and all help that any of you can suggest?
