I was with Allstate from 1981 to 1998. Never had any problems with them at all. They were also either cheaper or the same price as all of the ones I checked with once when trying to find a cheaper rate. Only reason I dropped them was because when I went to England, had to change insurance agents because the agent in New Mexico wouldn't carry me with the vehicle moved to Texas and the new agent wasn't the best I had ever dealt with. STAY AWAY FROM GEICO!!!!!!! They are the best insurance company to have as long as you don't have to deal with them. Try contacting USAA and see if your eligible. I have had GREAT luck with them with both vehicle and home owners insurance/content insurance. They beat Progressive, Allstate, State Farm, GEICO, and just about every other insurance company when it comes to price and service. Jim
