When I was a young fella, my father worked in open pit coal mines. I remember one time he took us out to see the biggest dozer ever. It was two D-9s hooked side by side with a single blade across them. Don't remember how wide that blade was, but it was huge. One operator ran the combo from one seat. This was also the company that had the walking dragline in Ohio, one of the largest ever made. It was quite a site!
