starting my 135 diesel with no starter switch!

Hi

the ignition switch on my 135 has always been funny, and its just gone. The key is completley loose, and when you turn it nothing happens, the tractor was ran yesterday. Im certain this is where the problem lies, and will order a new switch next week.

Basically, I need to cut a 7 acre field tomorrow, and was wondering if there s any other way to start it, by shorting across wires or something.

Oh, by the way, it has the 4 post ignition switch, and it is a Perkins diesel.
