i bought a roll of shipping styrofoam. very soft. cut it to length. cover the fenders and hood and all the tractor. then a soft blanket or 2 over that. then a car cover. strapped very tight to the tractor with about 5 different straps. when i am done the covers do not move. the foam is like a barrier and wont rub the paint off. i only use it when i carry my orchard tractor, because of all the fenders. havent had any stone chips or bugs ruin the paint. it is a pain to do, but it really works well. pg
