i think you might have gottem some bad info on that. letter series had their own with the tie rod in front,number series to the 60 series were all the same and 06 to 56 are the same. 66 through late 88 series are basicly the same except they have a cylander to steer them. late 88 series had a square tube front. hubs and spindles can be switched from a 06 series all the way to early 88 series.
