I don't know of any state in this country where the death penalty is applied for burglary, or where it is legal to shoot and kill a fleeing thief. Even in the old west of the movies you wouldn't want to be known as a back shooter. This is a good recipe to wind up in jail your self. So take your adrenalin and hormones down a few notches and quit advocating deadly force as a solution for property crimes. The young man was obviously troubled. A little compassion for at least his parents is in order.
