The kid was a high school dropout, constantly in trouble with the law, and still living with his parents at age 26. The safe appeared to be tampered with and a presumed competent tractor operator attempted something very, very stupid ignoring the danger to make a quick getaway with the safe. With any hope the dead thief will be charged with something on principle alone and his family will have to pay for any damages that he caused. Hopefully the rest of his family is not made up of degenerates like himself and they will not attempt to make easy money suing the property owner. The unfortunate thing is that he was not caught stealing the safe. A bullet is a lot cheaper than a perfectly good tractor. I wouldn't be suprised at all if the idiot was also planning on stealing the tractor. In closing I would like to give a shout-out to the tractor that sacrificed itself to stop a crime in progress.
