I was going to say, why drain the Mobil 1, but I see you are not using something else, just using it to remove sludge then leaving it. I use 15w50 Mobil 1 in my lawn tractors mowing 2 acres at least twice a week, all summer. I only change oil at the end of the season (once annually). This spring my 5 year old Koehler was getting a new spark plug. While out, I shone a light into the spark plug hole at the cylinder wall. I COULD STILL SEE THE MANUFACTURER'S CROSS HATCH HONE MARKS ON THE WALL. Say what you want about oil. The proof is in the pudding. Mark
