I've taken the cover , screws & clips off. The first connect is labeled " F ", second " Bat " , the third on the side of the regulater " L "? The forth underneath is not labeled? This one leads back to the generator, would this be the " G "? If that's correct, then I hook everything back up including the re-charged battery and jump a lead between " bat " & "G"?
