Did you have a picture of your 8N too, or was it just a description?. Somebody didn't know, and some of those small fords were diesel, but not 8N's. It's also very possible to put a home made cab on it, but it would be most unlikely. I suppose the next guy will want to know how good the power steering works, but like I said, they don't know. Maybe somebody got their wires crossed and emailed you by mistake, when they were interested in another tractor. Who knows, some of the things people do and say don't make much sense and leave use wondering. Most of us are very much into tractors and can easily I.D different tractors just by looking at them from a distance, even if the all the decals are missing. I love going to auctions and listening to the first timer compact tractor owner talk to his wife and wondering if the huge 3pt blade clearly made for a 150hp tractor is going to fit on his new 35hp compact, LOL, I got news for him, the 3pt arms on his compact wont spread far enough for him to hook it up, this was done so that people like him can't hook stuff up thats way too big and damage the tractor, and possibly hurt himself too.

At one time I had seven restored examples which were shown and used in ploughing matches. As most restorers, I have a number of war stories I can relate on a range of topics that may help other like minded and interested people. Perhaps my first p
