I have a 1HP 2yr. old Flo-tech shallow well pump that is giving me and my dad a fit.It will not pump even after i rebuilt it it only has 1 pipe going down the well 1 1/4"size anyway i bought a 1/2 HP submersible today but i am worried we will not be able to get it past what i think is a rock right after the 6"casing stops.Sometimes i have trouble getting the 1 1/4" foot valve past it.I guess my main question is how could i knock the rock out to get the 4" pump down without calling a well driller?
