A carb rebuild (I have found out the hard way) entails more than just a kit. Needs to be soaked in cleaner at least overnight then blown out with compressed air. Doesn't hurt to have some tag wire handy to poke out any openings then blow it out again. Be sure and remove any rubber or composition parts before soaking. I would put my money on your problem being a stopped up passage in the load jet or load needle not properly set.
