Hey guys, Thanks for all of the reply's I appreciate it. I've used this web site several times and am just getting used to how it works. The Ford 801 series tractor in question is an 851 and has the 5 speed transmission that pushes up and down. I just saw the tractor for the first time tonight. I offered $4000.00 but the owner won't go any lower than $4500.00. The tractor is in really good shape. The loader works well except it won't lift the front end of the tractor. I'm not sure if there is something wrong? I thought a strong loader should raise the front end of a tractor. Clay
