Clay, $4500 is a little high in my area (mid-south) where they usually sell from $3000 - $3800 bare tractor for good conditioned mechanical and body for an 801 series. There are variations of 801's and I would want live pto, 5 speed personally. They are good tractors for light use. Look for good mechanical such as the 3-point lift working properly, good shifting trany and of course engine. If all of those are ok and it looks to suit you I'd try to get it for $4000. The loader does add some value to the tractor. I've owned an 801 for 25 years and it has been a good tractor, but it was good when I got it and I've taken care of it. Mine is an 861 1962 year. Good luck.
