I am thinking about buying a 8n for use around my home. I will use it for brush hogging and dirt moving and other odd jobs. I am not a tractor guy so I was hoping to find someone who owns one. How does the PTO work? Do I have to drive the tractor to make the PTO work or will it work alone? The one I am looking at currently has a 3/4 bucket on the front so I am all set there. but what about the brush hog. Do I need a special on e or will anyone work. I bought a woods 7 ft back blade, can I use it to move snow. Why should I be concerned as to where the distibutor is . I was told to stay away form the front mounted one and get the side mounted. If anybody has the time I would love to ask more questions. Thanks in advance.
