I bought a A/C Model M a while back, drained about 3 gal of water out of the trans. I was not very happy when I saw that.I had to take the trans top off to clean the break drums, as they were also water soaked and rusty. I washed the trans out and filled it with oil. It has worked good with no noticeable problems I have probably put 200 hrs on it since cleaning. From your other post you may need to remove the trans top and check things out. Since it was a freebee, you woulnt be out much except for a little time. Have fun. Stan
