I've owned air cooled diesel tractors since the mid 80's includeing the 2 air cooled SLH (SAME) built tractors i bought new a few years ago, and still own. They do "not" over heat, and are a real work horse! I custom rotavate with mine, and that puts a good load on them for hours on end. I've never had one come near over heating, but because they don't have a water jacket, the engines are more noisy sounding. Also because they are air cooled, they don't have radiator, water pump, and all kinds of other water related problems!! Robert
