backfire out muffler

My tractor is backfiring out the muffler when I give it more gas. At an idel the tractor runs good. It ran fine this summer it start to backfire after the cold weather came. I changed the fuel filter and added dry gas to the tank. That didnt help I added mystical oil or something like that to the gas to lube internal parts. I changed the plugs. Took the carb apart everything looks good in the carb. I also change the oil and filter. Anyone have an idea what to look at next? Frank
