If your carb matches one on the list, you'll be ok. I would try to run the drill bit through with fingers only rather than a power drill. I don't think the standard chuck will take such a small size anyway, but a pin vice will work.
What do you think of the idea of using something like CLR to clean the passage? I don't remember any one mentioning anything other than carb cleaners. You could take a little scrap of brass from the broken part to see how it reacts to CLR. And if the tube is soldered in, I would definetly, carefully, run a bit thru to remove any excess solder. Some large hobby shops sell 12" brass tubing. Each piece will just slide into the next size up, and the smallest sizes may have the right id for the tube you need. Bring the drill with you for a test.
