Pressure type sender. Oil light's on before starting and goes off 1-2 seconds after starting. Engine was low at the back. Must have splashing enough oil into the sump pickup to maintain pressure. Even started it up for a minute to swing the boom and tip it some to drag it out easier.
Must have shook the sludge off the hydraulic sump screen. All boom motions etc where faster afterwards.
