I rolled a Case skid steer on it's side a few years ago and the engine stayed running and light never came on either. Picked it up with a bigger loader and chain, led the fluids settle a bit and started right off loading again. Is it possible that the oil sensor isn't a pressure type sensor and being upset actually covered the probe in oil making it think it had oil? Or maybe my idiot light just didn't work... Anyways, I agree the seatbelt is there for a reason, it sure held me in the ROPS while I tipped. Good to hear you were o.k. too.
