Hayrides

I remember my teen years and going on hayrides. I was a tall skinny redhead with glasses. It seemed that all the guys were more interested in the tractors pulling the wagons than they were to the girls. Some of the boys knew what route the rides would take and would plant beer along the way! Oh for those days to return!! One night the driver shifted a 560 IHC diesel to high TA and took out 6 fence posts. Another time the ride was in silage wagons which had been painted with a wood preservative which irritated bare skin. The wagons had peviously been used to haul sorghum silage which also made us itch.
