Well I got my case jumped on the Farmall Forum for saying this but, I would go with a 656 over an M anyday, the increase in power and options just doesn't make them comparable. The 560 is almost as good as a 656 and both give you live hydraulics and and live pto along with a GOOD PS steering set up. A 656 will pull everything you metioned above with ease, except the 4-16 plow. That will give it or a 560 a serious workout, if that is one requirement you do need to move up to a 8** size tractor. One thing to consider is that the 560s and 656s have all been worked hard for a number of years as first primary field tractors then as large utility tractors. One rarely sees one parked in a shed for just mowing. To get a good one (especially a 656) you'll pay for it.
