Planing a workshop with living quarters- need inpu

We are planning to build a 40x60 shop on our land with an addition which will be our living quarters. We currently have a toy tractor customizing business, JRC Farms at DandM collectibles. We are also starting up a Cad/Cam CNC plasma cutting business soon-sheet metal up to 1 inch thick- in which we will be building metal arts and crafts, metal furniture and metal parts for individuals. Also, we will be restoring tractors and implements, raising cows and horses, etc.... Does anyone have any suggestions about the shop/living quarters combo? (going to spray the wood frame with fire preventative liquid) Any other suggestions?
