I agree with both of the guys below. Use the Moly grease it is a better grease. But don't worry about the manufactureers grease, just go to an industrial supply house (i.e. Acklands Grainger) and take the infor from the manufacturers grease. As you said though it is just a multi purpose grease. Now as for Howards comment, CLean out the old grease! You might have got away with using a diiferent manufacturers moly grease but now you have mixed lithium in there. you should try to clean all the grease out of the gear box and re pack it with new moly. hope this helps. P.S. search for info on molybdenum and lithium greases on the web and you will understand the differences better.
