O.T. Old pump/well water supply

Calling once again on the wealth of knowledge here . We found new place to locate our hunting / get away cabin . Old farmyard, has old hand pump on well. it has been converted to an electric motor pump drive. Any ideas on how to get water supply to cabin ? Maybe pump into holding tank , then use shallow well pump ? Well casing is only 3 in and i believe onwer said it was 300 ft .
