The first thing I would do is find out the static water level in the well. Then go from there to determine if I needed a shallow well water pump or one for deep well, such as a jet pump. If you static level is 30 ft or less you could use shallow well pump. Fix the old hand pump don't require anything but man power to operate. and better for ya than the Barley Pop..:>) Keith & Shawn
