i sorta find that hard to believe,if you are doing it for hire then yes i am sure that all you said would apply. however just as a hobby i dont think that applies, i was told when i registered my ford dump truck that i had to have not for hire posted on it if i wasnt going to use it for bussiness,if i was then i would have to get dot numbers and all that stuff if i was going to leave the state, i find it hard to believe that towing a trailer under 10,000 lbs gvw that you would have to have all that stuff for personal use,over 10,000 yes, so many of the guys with goosenecks could be affected. i would like to see where the law actualy says all that you are saying,it may just be some grumpy state cops interpretation of the law i think
