With no prior electric brake experience, I bought a Prodigy based on the recommendation of the trailer parts store. I couldn't be more pleased. The initial settting went just like the instructions said, and i have not changed it since. the 3 boost levels are very handy. I run with no boost when the trailer is empty; on level 1 when hauling furniture or other bulky junk, and level 3 when my Deere is aboard. No messing with the gain control at all. the manual switch is a nice feature. If i have plenty of time to stop - or if the road is wet - I use just the manual control and let the trailer do all the braking. the digital readout tells me how much braking is being applied. The digital readout is neat - makes me think i know what's gpoing on.
