Brake Controllers

I am looking at three different styles of trailer electric brake controllers: 1. Brake pedal positioning type - Jordan "Ultima"
2. Tow vehicle inertia type - Tekonsha "Prodigy"
3. Timed ramp-up type - Draw-Tite "Activator III" My trailer is a 10K GTW twin axle, 4 brake, utility. Because of truck limitations, I will not be exceeding 5K GTW. Never having used a trailer, I have no practical experience with such braking systems. The proportional action of #1 seems appealing to me but I am having some difficulty deciding which I should get. All three are similarly priced so relative cost is not a consideration. I would appreciate any advice or comments. Something else I should be looking at? Thanks in advance.  Rod
