Well, the xx1 Fords were almost like the xx0, just a bit newer - mostly just tin work, and spiffed the engines up a hp or 2? There really never ever was a 801 Ford tractor you could look at. It was a 821, 841, 851, 861, 871. Possibly a couple others. The higher the middle number, the more features it had. So, you couldn't really have a 801 tractor. So I'm not really sure which clutch you are describing, a 841 the 4 speed with the tranny pto - not live. Or 851 with a 5-speed & a tranny pto - not live. Or a 861 with the double, 2-stage, live clutch. At least, that is how things are described to me! :) That must really be hard on the starter motor, to fire up a heavy load like a round baler or hammer mill by starting it with the pto in gear? --->Paul
