Let's compare:

(Number of workers )(Worker's salaries) vs (ceo compensation package)

For example: say there are 100,000 employees. Let's say they make $17.95/hr/
For a 40hr week, 52 weeks/year. That's $37,336/year. 100,000 employees times $37.336 is a payroll of how much? my calculator says $3,733,360,000 for a workers wages payroll, for a year. You stated that the ceo makes 520 times the wages of one average worker? Fine, that's $19,414,720, of which the GOVERNMENT takes 56%, or $10,872,243 in taxes every year.

$3.4 BILLION versus $19 Million!

I wonder who has the greater effect on prices?

There was a little old lady who sued McDonalds for $30 million. Guess she should have sued for $5 BILLION over that hot coffee, huh?

Personally, I do not think that a CEO in a small company with say 100-200 employees makes anything like your 520x salary ratio. Also, the CEO of a 200 employee company likely OWNS that company or at least owns the majority of the stock. What is a fair return on investment? If the OWNER of a company has to deliver all of the profit to employees. it sure sounds good for the employees! Better make sure that those same employees OWN STOCK in that same company, and that they SHUT UP with regards to the POOR DIVIDEND they'd get for their return on investment!
